OUR STORY
Since taking ownership of the Days Inn & Suites in 2023, the Schinkel family has brought their commitment to hospitality and genuine care to Alberta for the first time. As the seventh hotel added to the Schinkel Properties family, and the second in Alberta, this property marked an exciting step in expanding our presence in Edmonton.
Building on a legacy that began in 2001 with our first hotel in Steinbach Manitoba, we’ve continued to prioritize exceptional guest experiences, cleanliness, and community support here in West Edmonton.
One way we live out our values is by giving back to the communities we’re fortunate to be part of. In Edmonton, we’re proud to support Fort Edmonton Park, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and other local initiatives that make a difference.
